Every person eligible must pay Zakat-ul-Fitr (or Fitrana) for himself but also for his dependants, such as his children.

This year, PICC will be supporting Seven Spikes - as the charity that will receive funds raised from Fitrana.

The recommended amount per person is £7.00

If you would like for your Fitrana to be distributed through PICC please make payments online by Monday 16th March at the latest. This is to ensure the Zakat is in the hands of those in need before the Eid prayer as prescribed by our Prophet (PBUH).

‘The Prophet (PBUH) declared the payment of Sadaqatul Fitr as obligatory; it purifies the fasting person from any indecent act or speech, and is a source of feeding the poor.’
